Frank Pilgrim is
a TV shrink on the verge of his big break, but hasn't noticed that his wife,
son and daughter are having problems of their own.
When his wife
Mim becomes acquainted with an eminent literary figure, he and his producer
decide to make the most of it - a catalyst for chaos.
A slow start but
anyone with teenagers in the house would appreciate this take on life. I lent
my copy of this book to a friend who lent it to a friend, etc and I've just
got it back! I think they all enjoyed it but they have teenagers too! I
thought Miriam's juggling of her daily tasks and a pesky husband were really
quite humourous and her getting to know Sam and the window cleaner...well!
I would recommend this book to anyone who wants a lighthearted book that is
quite down to earth but actually has real issues in there.
